Of course!  We will group singles together to form teams for both 4 person and 2 person Leagues. If you want to register as a single, please email contact@greatshots.golf . If we cannot place you with other singles you will receive a full refund.

Handicaps can be based on GHIN or a handicapping round.

  • If you do not have a GHIN handicap, you can come in to Great Shots and play a complementary round of golf to use for your handicap. The handicap round of golf will be at no cost. We encourage you to bring in your entire team to play your round together!
  • Handicapping Rounds can be played anytime Monday-Thursday. Please contact us at contact@greatshots.golf to set up your time.
  • During league play handicaps will be based on 80% of the average of the best 5 scores from the last 10 league rounds.
  • There will be a triple bogey rule meaning that triple bogey is the max score that can be carded on any hole.
  • Men will play from the middle tees.
  • Women will play from the forward tees.
  • Juniors ages 13 and under will play from the forward tees.

If you prefer your own clubs, feel free to bring them along!

Otherwise, we provide complimentary right-handed and left-handed clubs for men, women and juniors!

As a reminder, we do not allow personal tees to be used on our mats.

We will play Toptracer Virtual Golf.

TopTracer is the same ball-tracing technology used on televised golf tournaments to track the shots of the game’s best players.

Using Virtual Golf we will play 9 hole best ball matches on Pinehurst, PGA National GC, Bethpage Black, Spy Glass, Spanish Bay, Torrey Pines, St. Andrews – Old Course, and Pebble Beach.

Unfortunately no. We want to create a fun but competitive atmosphere – good shots and bad shots are both part of this amazing game of golf.

If a shot is unplayable the “REHIT” button can be used and it will allow the previous golfer to re-hit with a penalty shot.

Yes, you will be able to have subs on your team.

  • We encourage you to develop a list of possible alternate players you will use during the league.  Unless the sub player has a GHIN or a Great Shots League handicap established, they will play off a 0 or scratch handicap.

We certainly appreciate your desire to get your league round completed. However, we do need to have the teams participate at their designated league time in order to register a score for each week.
